Our story

Relebohile Rapulane

I enrolled to study education however, in my last year I realised it wasn't my passion. After graduating, I felt that i should look into entrepreneurship but was not sure what to do. At one point I was selling jewellery but decided to look into avenues which I personally needed but weren't available in the country.

I wanted to find a long lasting solution for eyebrow grooming - that's when i found out about Microblading. After extensive research, I decided to go for training and soon after receiving my certification, I added individual lash extensions to my skillset and started Brow and Lash Bar.

I started working at Brow and Lash Bar in March 2019 as an Assistant answering calls and setting appointments. I was the point of contact until October 2022 after my skillset had evolved and I learned how to do lashes extensions.

I am now a Lash artist at Brow and Lash Bar.

Brows

MICROBLADING

Semi-permanent eyebrow make up. The pigment is applied with a pencil tool that has a fixed small blade with disposable needles. An effect of extremely fine and natural looking hairstrokes is achieved. It lasts 1-2years Touch ups are required after 6weeks, 3-months or annually.

MACHINE HAIRSTROKES

A minimally invasive procedure whereby the pigment is implanted into the skin in hairlike strokes using a cosmetic tattooing machine with a single needle.

COMBO-BROWS

Microblading hair-like strokes from the beginning to the middle of the brow to give the brow a natural look, which then transitions to a powdered effect to the body and tail of the brow to give the brow more fullness and density.

OMBRÉ-POWDER BROWS

The technique is derived from its name. With results being a powdery brow with a slight gradient at the front and a crisp pixelated tail, resembling an ombré effect. It lasts 3-5 years.
